Clive Kabatznik is a prominent AFHU leader and chair of AFHU’s Hebrew University Alumni Outreach. Under Clive’s leadership, this exciting new initiative includes spearheading alumni events in our regions, developing websites in conjunction with Hebrew University, gathering information on alumni throughout the United States, and working toward the development of a robust alumni association deeply connected to Israel, Hebrew University and AFHU. 

Clive was born in South Africa and is a proud graduate of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem; he received his Bachelor’s degree in history and sociology and his Master’s degree in sociology. Clive is a member of its International Board of Governors and Executive Committee and a recipient of an Honorary Fellowship from Hebrew University (2011). Dedicated to AFHU’s mission, Clive serves as a national board member and member of the Executive and Investment Committees. He is a past Chairman of AFHU’s Campaign Committee. 

A successful businessman and entrepreneur, Clive is the Co-founder and Operating Manager of New Bedford Media LLC, a firm that acquires and operates digital media companies. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Code and Theory LLC., a New York-based digital advertising company specializing in strategic brand building campaigns in the consumer goods, fashion and publishing industries. He is a Co-founder and Partner of Fluid Spirit Holdings, a Boca Ratonbased marketing and brand-building company focusing on the wine and spirits industry. He is Chairman of Strategy First, a Montreal based digital game distribution company and is a director of XRpro Sciences and Harbour Island Rum Company. 

In 1995, he founded and became Chief Executive Officer of Silverstar Holdings, a public US company established to acquire, own and operate companies. Silverstar, which Clive led until 2009, focused on businesses built on new internet and technology-based platforms. Preceding Silverstar, he was founder and was president of Colonial Capital Corp., an independent investment banking firm. Prior to Silverstar, Clive co-founded and became president of Biltmore Capital Group, a Florida-based financial services holding company.

While residing in Jerusalem from 1986-1989, Clive worked as an independent investment banker, with emphasis on the leveraged acquisition of manufacturing and distribution companies in the U.S and Europe. In addition to his career in financial services, he has been a leader in the sphere of adult education, co-founding The Learning Annex, Inc.
