New York Bureau Chief, Bloomberg
Jason Kelly is the New York Bureau Chief of Bloomberg, overseeing more than 1,200 journalists. He also serves as executive editor for Bloomberg Television, responsible for the network's content worldwide. He's the author of The New Tycoons: Inside the Trillion Dollar Private Equity Industry That Owns Everything, the product of five years leading Bloomberg's global private equity coverage. Mr. Kelly has served as Managing Editor of Bloomberg Link, the company's global conference business, and is a regular contributor to Bloomberg Businessweek and Bloomberg Markets, where his work has spanned artificial intelligence on Wall Street to economic development during the war in Afghanistan. Before joining Bloomberg, he edited a magazine about technology and venture capital in the Southeast U.S. He is a graduate of Georgetown University. An accomplished marathoner, his new book, Sweat Equity: Inside the New Economy of Mind and Body, was published last year by John Wiley & Sons.
