Matthew Winkler is Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of Bloomberg News, which he founded with Michael Bloomberg in 1990 when he joined the then eight-year-old financial information company Bloomberg LP. He became a member of the Bloomberg LP board in 2006 and is a columnist for Bloomberg View. During Mr. Winkler's 25 years as Editor-in-Chief, Bloomberg became the only news organization to receive every top award in every form of news media, including the Pulitzer Prize, the Emmy (National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences) and the National Magazine Award (American Society of Magazine Editors).
